Day 11: 7/5/12 — The Veggie Life (is it for me?)

Looking forward to post-juice-fast (I know … still 20 days away) … but hmm … I am going to give vegetarianism a whirl! Sure … it will save the planet, but more selfishly — IT WILL SAVE ME. Do the research; vegetarians live longer, weigh less, feel better, and have fewer illnesses (including cancer!).

And … get this … the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics recommends a veggie diet for long-term health:

“It is the position of the American Dietetic Association that appropriately planned vegetarian diets, including total vegetarian or vegan diets, are healthful, nutritionally adequate and may provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases. Well-planned vegetarian diets are appropriate for individuals during all stages of the life-cycle including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood and adolescence and for athletes.”


And … here’s a cool blog.

And!!! We went to the beach today … a great day (I looked awesome with my 1/2 gallon jug of juice in tow).
